I have been nothing but lazy about my blog....
Thought about it today and think I should start doing more again ... so that my great friends in SG will not feel too left out from my exciting HK life...

Wading in the velvet sea....

I have a lovely boyfriend...
He makes me dinner when I am late from work...
He wakes me up with kisses and take a shower before I do cos he knows I wanna laze in bed for that final 5 mins...
He allows me to bit him anytime I am feeling agitated
He endures with my nonsense and pettiness and craziness...
He hugs me to sleep every night..

We goes holiday...
We got an apartment..

Hmm.. I believe there is nothing more I can ask for........

Once upon a Valentine

Our FIRST Valentine's Day together!!
It started great as I was woken up in the morning by a kiss from my prince and the candle lite breakfast! lol .. when the weather was cold and it was groomy enough to have a candle light breakfast.. lol

Then followed by the surprise of a BEAUTIFUL basket of roses in the office (really didn't expect that, cos he said that we are just going out for dinner.. )




Dinner at Hu Tong on 1 Peking Road. Fantastic view! Great food! and of cos the GREATEST guy!! heehee....

Well, the only down side of the day is ... he gotta fly off after dinner, business + visit family trip ...


wish I could have joined him but then .. I jst started new work ...

Anyway... 11 days more till I see my baby again... Have a great trip and come back quick!!

What a year....

Time flies.. Really it does.
2007's gone, 2008's beginning...

2007 marks a lot of changes in my life.

Started with a great trip to Australia (a short company trip). One more continent covered!!!

Feb...
Decided that I should move back to Hong Kong. There were many reason to that decision. But I am really glad that I have made that choice.

one hell of a mixed month, lots of fun parties and outing in hk, lots of hospital visits and bad news back in Sg.

Lost a friend, someone from the past... and made quite an interesting decision that leads to a chain of events that I am totally happy with.

June...
Started with a trip to Vietnam with Ken, our first trip.

He then left for Denmark. and I thought that would be it and all was gonna be just great memories...
Then I got that great great news in the mid of month, one of the greatest birthday present/news I have even receive.



Then come my really great birthday party with my evil brother, Raph.






and come the long waiting for the arrival for my beloved.

Nothing much happened... apart from the beginning of a really few months of expensive phone bills! haha....

Sept...
My trip to Denmark!! My first time to Europe, and to be honest, I was nervous about it as I have not seen him for months! and everything were just phone base... But it turned out to be the best trip I have had ;)


Oct...
Arrival of Mr. Kenneth Petersen.... Back in HK to rock the town..! Didn't manage to welcome him back at the airport as I was traveling, and there were flight delay when i was coming back.... but then, all is good! finally we are going to have a relationship when we are on the same land..

Nov...
Settling in with Ken... submitted my resignation letter...

Dec...
China Zoo trip! We went to the Safari zoo in Panyu and the hotspring around the area....it was great... and I held a baby tiger!!!!

New year party!!! Another boat trip... and firework for countdown!


It has been an eventful year... a lot had happened a lot had changed.. I have put down alot of my past and I know that I have finally come out from a really bad experience..

And the best part of 2007? I have to say it has to be Ken. I am so glad that it happened and like he said .. 2007 was a big change in his life and he was glad that it happened :)

Now it is 2008, I have made my wish for this year and hope that everything will turn out the way I want it to be.

So, I have been MIA for quite a long while .. what have i been up to?

I was on holiday! and then i was back and bz with work .. so.. here is the link to all the pictures ... it was a lovely place.... spent the entired 2 weeks in Denmark! It was really great time ~

and I gotta stay in a castle for 1 nite! CASTLE!! it was awesome! and gotta watch my first live football match and .. outdoor concert!!!

Carousel

Carousel.
Something I love when I was a kid. I still remember the carousel at '荔園', not the most fantastic, a little rundown and old, paint peeling for the horse... and eerie looking human faces along the ceiling of it (that's my least favorite part of carousel)...

I dreamt that I will ride the horse with my darling like the girls in the cartoon, love seeing my parents waving at me every time the carousel goes a round....

then I grew out of it. Carousel is just like the mirror that Harry was addicted to, it shows you things that you like seeing, let you dream your dream and then at the end of it, you realise you are just back to square one.

And then it is just the same thing all over again and the same thing you see in real life, the magic is gone, leaving the human faces around the ceiling of the carousel laughing at you silliness of believing in it.

Why the hell am I writing this? Well, it is just that recent happenings make me realised that carousel is just like karma, what goes around comes around.

People in the past coming back to my life, people who made me miserable, are miserable now...

it is like when you are riding in the carousel, happily dreaming away.. then suddenly you see faces standing around the carousel, half of the time you can't see them clearly, cos you are moving so fast, feeling so happy.. .but then, they are there, staring like vultures, waiting for you to get out from that dreamy ride..

They are just not happy, they want to be on the ride instead of you, waiting for you to get down, and jump on to their ride... ....

Sweeet Summer lovin'

So what have I been up to.
Well... alot of you may already know.. I am busy with work, with friends, with the beaches (I am going to a different beach every weekend till I find a beach that I am happy to stay with!!) and with.... hmm hmm.... relationship!

Yes yes, as many of you may already know ... I am attached. :) *hehe... I can't stop grinning about that.....*

So, what's the story? Well, one day I was going for some rugby 7 party and there is this guy who fell from the sky..... and things just happened.. haha.. alright I am not gonna bored you with the details .. just want all my friends to know that I am really happy these days (though he is not in hk now .. BUT he will be soon!)

And what am I busy with now apart from work??? Planning for my trip to Denmark!
I will be traveling in Sept, 12-25
and here are....
Things I wanna do:

• Birthday party! - he is turning 30
• Camping!! - should be doing this in Sweden
• kayaking - doing this in the canals in Copenhagen
• horse riding (if possible) in the woods....
  

Places I wanna go:

• Sweden and Germany
• Lolland - his hometown
• Nyhavn
• Tivoli - the place that inspired Disneyland
• castles, castles and more castles
• Legoland
• Zoo
• Den Gamle By - the old town
• Odense - hometown of Hans Christian Andersen
• Kjeldsens 藍罐曲奇's factory!!!

I am so touch that he actually contacted the factory to check if we can go for a visit on special request (cos the factory is not open to public for visit)... and the guy said "we should be able to make arrangement for your girlfriend" after hearing about the childhood memories, childhood comfort food story from him.. :) but he will have to contact them again to check if the factory is going to be producing the butter cookies that I like during my stay (cos they have schedule for different products ....)

NO MATTER if the visit happens at the end... I still think it is very sweet of him :) * hugz darling*

Wooohoo... is like a trip back to childhood!! to the Fairytale land!
